Do Barefoot Shoes Have Arch Support?
Most purist barefoot shoes use little sculpted arch support, but transitional models and removable insoles create a wider spectrum. Toe room and arch support are separate decisions.Read the answer, then inspect the current options.

A flat footbed is not automatically right for every foot, and visible arch contour is not automatically therapeutic.
Inspect the footbed rather than the label
Minimalist shoes often have relatively little sculpted arch contour, but the category is not uniform. Look inside the exact model and check whether its liner is removable. A product photograph cannot establish how an arch area will press against your foot.
A flat footbed is not automatically right for every wearer. Equally, an obvious arch bump is not evidence that a shoe provides treatment. Judge the actual fit and follow relevant professional advice rather than choosing by the visibility of a contour.
Make room for a prescribed device
If an orthotic is prescribed, the important question is whether the shoe accommodates it correctly. Depth, heel seating and the shape of the base matter as well as whether the stock liner comes out. Do not stack inserts unless instructed.
