Can You Wash Barefoot Shoes?

Find permission for the exact washing method
The fact that a shoe is fabric does not establish that it can be machine washed. Check the current model instructions for water exposure, detergent, temperature and drying. General advice for another shoe in the same brand may not apply.
If washing is permitted, distinguish cleaning removable components from washing the complete assembled shoe. Laces and liners may have instructions of their own. Do not assume a gentle-cycle setting makes an otherwise prohibited method acceptable.
Use hand cleaning when guidance is uncertain
Start with loose dirt removal and targeted cleaning while you seek clarification. This can address ordinary marks without subjecting every layer of the shoe to water. Avoid treating waterproof as a synonym for washable; those descriptions concern different things.
Do not tumble dry a pair unless the manufacturer specifically allows it. Give the shoe time to dry fully using the recommended approach. If a listing supplies no care information, consider that gap before buying a second pair, especially when your intended use will require frequent cleaning.
