Can Climbing Shoes Be Barefoot-Shaped?

Separate the approach from the climbing
A comfortable foot-shaped shoe can serve a walk to the climbing area, but that does not make it technical climbing footwear. Climbing shoes use specific shapes and rubber coverage for control on holds. Their purpose differs from maximizing everyday toe movement.
Choose equipment for the actual discipline and venue. A relaxed approach walk, an indoor beginner session and technical outdoor climbing should not be grouped under one barefoot recommendation.
Fit with qualified help
