Zero drop leaves room for very different rides

That amount of material is meaningfully different from a close-ground minimalist shoe. Compare the current Torin specification directly when deciding how much cushioning you want, rather than treating the shared brand or heel geometry as a complete description of the ride.
Run distance does not dictate one winner
A higher stack is not a rule that the shoe must be better for every long outing. Consider whether you prefer a closer, more flexible sensation or more separation from the pavement, then assess heel security and room through the forefoot.
